The conference will be held in the Nombolo Mdhluli Conference Centre in Skukuza, the largest rest camp in the Kruger National Park and also the administrative headquarters. It is situated on the southern banks of the Sabie River. The camp is well foliaged and there are some lofty trees along the river’s edge. Activities and facilities are diverse, as are the animals and plants found both within the camp and in the surrounding areas. Skukuza Rest Camp is easily accessed by road and by air. Facilities available include a shop, cafeteria, restaurant, filling station, bank and ATM, laundromat, two swimming pools, spa, nursery, basic First Aid assistance, a magnificent 9 hole (18-tee), Par 72 golf course as well as the Skukuza Lodge. The myriad of birds and wild game in the area is easily spotted by going on bush walks and game drives conducted under the supervision of armed game wardens.

CONSERVATION FEES
Conservation fees are contributions collected by game lodges, private reserves, and national parks to help fund the protection and management of the incredible environments you visit. They are typically charged per person, per night, and are used exclusively for conservation efforts rather than profit. The funds are used for wildlife protection, habitat management, research and education, infrastructure and security, etc.
Holders of a SANPARKS Wild Card are exempted from paying conservation fees, on condition that it is a card that covers the Kruger Park cluster and that the membership is up to date. Conservation Fees vary from park to park and are based on a Cluster and Category. The Cluster defines the Park and the Category defines the person(s) linked to membership (individual, couple, family). If you hold a valid Wild Card, please quote the number on your registration form.
